Description
Old Manor Cottage is a house dated 1638, featuring the initials "A R M". It is constructed of coursed stone rubble with red brick dressings and quoins set on a stone base. The roof is thatched, gabled to the south and hipped to the north, with a brick chimney stack at the south gable. The building has two storeys and three windows that are irregularly spaced. The ground floor front elevation has casement windows, some with wooden frames, although most have been replaced with UPVC. There is a gabled 20th-century stone porch at the front. The left side elevation includes a cambered doorcase and a gabled weatherhood supported on brackets.
