Description

Bank Cottage is an 18th-century building located on the south side of The Street in Washington. It is two storeys high and features two windows along with one window-space. The exterior is faced with flints, complemented by red brick dressings, quoins, a stringcourse, and an eaves cornice with cogging. The roof is tiled, and the windows are horizontally-sliding sash types. Access to the cottage is via a doorway that is reached by eight steps.
