Description

The Old Vicarage is an early 19th-century building located on the north side of The Street in Washington. It is two storeys high and features five windows. The exterior is faced with Roman cement and has long and short quoins at the ground floor. There is a string course and an eaves bracket cornice, along with a hipped slate roof. The glazing bars are intact. The entrance has a solid porch with a cornice and a pediment above. Additionally, there is a service wing that has three storeys but is lower in elevation on the west side.
