Description

Forbes Almhouses are a pair of single-storeyed cottages built in 1905. They feature walls made of coarse flint with stone dressings and have quoins and a tiled roof. The symmetrical west front of each unit includes a doorway flanked by a window on each side. The windows are 4-light casements with 'Tudor' heads. Each cottage has a timber-framed porch supported by balusters, leading to heavy moulded canopies that are half-octagonal in shape, with boarded doors set within Tudor arches.
