Description

Church Cottage is an early 18th-century house located on Church Road in East Meon. The building features walls made of brickwork in Flemish bond, with blue headers, red quoins, and rubbed flat arches. There is a projecting band at the first floor. The roof is tiled, with a catslide at the rear and gabled dormers. The symmetrical south front has two storeys and an attic, with three windows that have 20th-century leaded casements. The central doorway has been converted into a window, while a traditional 20th-century doorway is located on the east side. At the rear, there is a narrow staircase wing with tile-hung walls and a hipped roof.
