Description

The Beswick Memorial is a chest tomb located 10 meters south-east of the chancel of the Church of St Paul in Quarnford. It commemorates James Darby Beswick, who died in 1857. The tomb is made of stone and features pilasters at each corner, with acanthus consoles supporting a string course and a patera above. The sides are oval and raised, inscribed, and the ends display radial bas-relief acanthus. The top of the tomb is a moulded slab.
