Description

Two Garden Temples located in the gardens of Thornbridge Hall, dating from the late 19th century. They are constructed from gritstone ashlar and both feature paired Ionic columns, a flat roof, and a square plan. The northern temple is open on all sides and is topped with a coat of arms and a balustraded parapet. The southern temple has a solid back wall with coupled Ionic pilasters.
