Description

The boundary wall to Thornbridge Hall is located along Longstone Lane in the parish of Great Longstone. This wall, which dates from the late 19th century, extends approximately 45 yards from the parish boundary northwards to the railway bridge. It is constructed of rubble limestone with gritstone dressings, featuring a drystone design with chamfered copings and an angle pier topped with a ball finial.
