Description

Greystone Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings, and has a Welsh slate roof with stone gable stacks. The south east elevation has three bays. An off-centre doorway is framed by stone lintels and jambs, featuring stable-type doors. To the left of the doorway is a two-light square section flush mullion window. To the right is a glazing bar sash window within an ashlar surround. To the right again is a blocked doorway with a fixed pane window. The first floor has a two-light and a three-light recessed and chamfered mullion window. The roof is divided into two bays by a tie-beam supported by curved principals.
