Description
The Tunnicliff Memorial is a chest tomb dating from the late 18th century, located 10 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St Paul in Quarnford. It is made of stone and features a plinth with reeded pilastered angles that have fleuron capitals. The slab has a moulded edge and inscribed panels. Surrounding the tomb is a cast iron railing on a stone plinth, which includes arrowhead finials and urn finials at the corners, with an entry point to the west. The earliest date inscribed on the memorial is 1771.
