The Village Cross is a market cross dating from the medieval period. It features a gritstone cross shaft stump that is octagonal in shape, set upon a square base and mounted on three stone steps. The base of the cross includes a 20th-century inscription that commemorates the repair of the monument in honor of the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1937.
