Description
The Lodge to Pictor Hall is an early 19th-century building located in the parish of Green Fairfield. It is constructed from finely jointed coursed squared limestone, featuring ashlar gritstone dressings and ashlar quoins. The building has plain gables and a Welsh slated roof. It is a single-storey structure with attics and consists of two bays. The windows are 2-light 'Y' traceried designs set within pointed arches, each adorned with hoodmoulds that have stops. A gabled attic dormer projects from the roof, also featuring small 2-light 'Y' traceried windows beneath a hoodmould. The central doorway has a stone surround with a pointed arched head, accompanied by a hoodmould and stops. The door itself is plain, planked, and studded, with lozenge glazings in the overlight.
