Description
This gate pier and the attached wall, located approximately 10 yards northeast of Wood Lodge, date from the early 19th century. Constructed from ashlar, the gate pier has a square section with a moulded base, chamfered edges, and a shaped cap. There is a one-yard length of coped wall attached to the north of the pier. The gate pier pairs with another one that is attached to Wood Lodge.
