Description
Broggin House is a farmhouse dating from 1718, as indicated by the date on the lintel. It is constructed from coursed, squared gritstone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three windows on the first floor. It has a plinth and large quoins. The central door, which is from the 20th century, is set in a chamfered quoined surround with a deep lintel that bears the date.
The farmhouse has double-chamfered mullion windows throughout, with wood casements. There are three-light windows on either side of the door, along with a single light window to the far right. A drip mould is raised above the door lintel, and there is a single light window above the door flanked by three-light windows. The structure features moulded kneelers and gable copings, with renewed stone end stacks.
