Description
Watergap Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, built in 1766 and later refenestrated in the 20th century. The structure is made of coursed limestone rubble with gritstone dressings and quoins, topped with a plain tile roof. It features stone coped gables with moulded kneelers and stone gable end stacks. The building has three storeys and three bays. The central doorcase has a plain lintel and jambs, with a moulded hoodmould above. On either side of the door, there are 20th-century casements in original flush surrounds, with three similar windows above. There are two smaller, similar windows above these, and between them is a stepped circular plaque inscribed '1766'.
