Description
This building is a cottage located west of the park in Tissington, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared limestone with gritstone dressings and features a plain tile roof with stone coped gables and moulded kneelers. The cottage has a prominent central stone stack that includes two stringcourses, with the upper one having coving underneath. The corners of the building are marked by quoins, and there is an eaves band decorated with a dentil-like motif and low crenellations.
The south elevation has a doorway on the left, with a 2-light chamfered mullion window with a dripmould to the right, followed by another similar window. Above, there are two more similar windows.
