Description
This barn, located 50 metres north-west of All Stone Lee Farmhouse in Chapel-en-le-Frith, dates back to 1702. It is constructed from coursed gritstone rubble and features large quoins. The roof is made of slate with a stone ridge and the building is a single storey. On the west side, there is a chamfered quoined doorcase, and above it, a shouldered lintel inscribed with 'FDAD 1702'. To the east, there is a chamfered quoined opening just below the eaves, and a similar opening can be found in the gable wall. Inside, the barn has a queen strut truss with partly tenched purlins.
