Description
This is a house located to the northeast of Bradley House, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of rubble limestone with gritstone dressings, featuring quoins and a coped north gable with moulded kneelers. The house has an ashlar ridge stack at the north end and a brick intermediate ridge stack, topped with a Welsh slated roof.
The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with the south bay being an addition made of massive ashlar. Originally, the house had 2-light flush mullioned windows throughout, but it now features 19th and 20th-century casements in the main part. The main entrance has a massive quoined central doorway with a moulded lintel, leading to a 20th-century half-glazed door. The end bay displays projecting 2-light flush mullioned windows, along with a single light above, and a plain planked door set within a projecting surround.
