Description

Yorkshire Bridge is an early 19th-century bridge constructed from coursed squared gritstone. It features two broad segmental arches with flush stone voussoirs. There are string bands at the springing of the arches and at road level. The parapet walls have curved coping stones, and the walls curve outwards at each end, terminating in square pillars. Each side of the bridge has a semi-circular cutwater.
