Description
Three cottages located at 1-3 Chapel Street, built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of coursed stone with a graded stone slate roof and feature a brick end stack for each cottage. These two-storey cottages have a single window each and are arranged in a terrace, with No. 1 slightly set back. The first floor of No. 1 has glazing bar sashes that have been replaced by casement windows, and there are boarded doors to the right. This group of cottages is part of a continuous row that includes Nos. 4-8, contributing to the character of the village center, which is adjacent to the churchyard to the north. They are included in the listing for their group value.
