Description
Farmbuildings south of Low Stead farmhouse date from the early 19th century. They are constructed of random rubble with dressed stone surrounds and are arranged in an L-shape. On the right is a single-storey store featuring a plank door and a half-slatted window. To the left is a two-storey cart shed, which has two segmental arches and two half-slatted granary windows above. Projecting from the left side is a single-storey stable that includes a stable door in the gable end. All the roofs are gabled, with the cart shed having flat coping and kneelers. These buildings are included mainly for their group value.
