Description
The cottage and farm buildings to the east of Dunterley Farmhouse date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble and feature Welsh and stone slate roofs. The single-storey cottage on the right has six bays and a stone-slate gabled porch that was added in 1984. It includes 20th-century sash windows set in alternating-block surrounds, and a plank door in a similar surround on the left bay. The cottage has a stone-slate gabled roof with one stone ridge stack.
Attached to the left of the cottage are farm buildings that enclose three sides of a stockyard. The first is a projecting single-storey byre with two doors. The range at the rear is two storeys high, featuring five segmental arches and a granary above with three windows and a pitching door. There is also a projecting single-storey byre to the left. All buildings have gabled roofs, and the two-storey range is topped with flat coping and kneelers.
There is a barn attached to the right of the two-storey range, but it is not of special interest.
