Description
This 18th-century limekiln is located approximately half a mile north of Hetherington Farm. It is constructed from roughly coursed stone and features one triangular corbelled drawing arch, with another arch blocked in to the right. At the rear of the arch, there is a small round-headed tunnel leading into the kiln, as well as a square recess. Behind the arch, the kiln is stone lined.
