Description
Walltown Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse. The front is made of dressed stone, while the right return and rear are constructed from squared rubble, and the left return is rendered. The roof features slates on the front and graduated stone flags on the rear, with stone chimneys. The building is two storeys high and has four bays. The third bay contains a four-panel door with a four-pane overlight set in a raised surround. The windows include four-pane and sixteen-pane sashes in flush surrounds, with alternating jambs and projecting sills. The roof has coped gables and features end and ridge stacks with top bands. The two left end bays at the rear include a workshop and loft. The rear has similar window styles and a blocked round-arched loading bay. There is a single-storey farm building on the left return, which is not of special interest.
