Description
This building is a cottage attached to the left of The Little Cottage, dating from the early 18th century with later alterations and an extension. It is constructed of squared sandstone and features a pantile roof with rebuilt brick stacks. The cottage has a single cell direct-entry plan with an outshut that has been later extended into an outbuilding.
The structure has two low storeys and a two-bay front, with a single-storey, single-window lean-to outbuilding on the left. The main entrance consists of a board door with a glazed light, positioned to the right of a three-light, small-pane horizontal sliding sash window. The outbuilding has a similar two-light window that blocks a former doorway, and there is another window above the house door on the first floor. A second opening to the left of the first floor is now blocked. All openings feature painted timber lintels, and there is a stepped eaves course and end stacks. The building was unoccupied at the time of resurvey.
