Farmhouse, mid-late C18 with alterations. Coursed herringbone- tooled sandstone; renewed pantiled roofs with stone copings, kneelers and stacks. Hearth-passage entry plan with downhouse running into long outbuilding range. Main house 2 storeys, 2 bays; right downhouse-outbuilding range 1 storey and attic, 6 bays. Ledged and boarded through-passage door. Main house has modern plate-glass windows in original openings, and a small fire-window on right. 3 stable doors, a cart door and one window on ground floor; loft doors above. Block kneelers, corniced end chimneys on house.
