Description

The war memorial, dating from 1922, is made of sandstone and is set into a wall approximately 7 metres south of the churchyard's south gateway. It features a well-carved bust of a soldier on a pedestal, with the dates '1914' and '1918' inscribed. The memorial stands on a square column that has a chamfered plinth and a recessed panel inscribed with the names of nine deceased individuals. Above this panel, the memorial is inscribed with the words 'For King/For Country/For God'.
