Description
A row of boundary stones, dating from around 1835, is located on the border with Westerdale County Parish, running southwards over Brown Hill. Seven stones were observed, although others may be sunk or covered in vegetation. These boundary markers are made of hard sandstone, each approximately 1 meter high, with roughly-rounded tops. The east face of each stone is inscribed with a "D" for Danby, while the west face features a "W" for Westerdale. The tops of the stones are whitewashed.
