Description

Three Crosses Well, located approximately 240 meters east of Ings Farmhouse, is a medieval well that has been built into an earth bank and is now partly buried. The well is constructed from sandstone and features a renewed horizontal slab measuring about 129 centimeters long, 99 centimeters wide, and 15 centimeters thick. This slab is supported by upright slabs, creating an opening on the south-east side that has a rebated surround, measuring approximately 25 centimeters high and 51 centimeters wide. The pool is likely buried. The well is situated near the site of Boulby Hall.
