Description
The former farm buildings, located approximately 35 metres north of The Old Farmhouse, date from the mid-18th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble sandstone and feature a pantile roof. The main structure is a one and a half storey range, flanked by single storey ranges that surround a foldyard, which is enclosed by an attached wall on the fourth side.
The central range includes a threshing barn and a three-bay wagon shed with a hayloft above. There is a board door accessed by stone steps to the centre left, with square openings that have timber shutters flanking it. To the right, there are two ventilation slits and a stable door at the far right. The rear of the wagon shed features brick piers and segment arches, and there is a pitching window in the gable end.
The range to the left contains five stables, while the range to the right has a later added two-bay implement shed with a brick pier, along with byres to the right that have board doors and timber lintels. The wall includes a blocked opening at the centre and a plank gate at the far left, topped with cambered coping.
