Description

Pricket Thorn Stone is a boundary stone, likely dating from the early 18th century. It is made of sandstone and stands approximately 1.5 metres high as a pointed monolith. The west face of the stone is inscribed with the letters "T D," which represent Thomas Duncombe, the former Lord of the Manor of Helmsley.
