Description
No. 43 Main Street is a cottage dating from the late 18th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings and has a pantile roof, featuring one rebuilt brick stack. The building is one and a half storeys high and has a two-window front. To the left of the center, there is a boarded door with a flat arch, flanked by two large pane horizontal sliding sash windows. The first floor also has two similar windows. The ground floor windows have thin timber lintels, with a brick flat arch above the left window. At the rear, there is a single-storey outshut with a catslide roof.
