Description

Mill House is a house built in 1781, as indicated by the datestone. It is constructed from herringbone tooled sandstone ashlar and has a pantile roof. The building features a central entry and stands two storeys high with three windows on the first floor. The entrance includes a four-panel door with the datestone above, which reads "I + L Dowson." The windows are two-light Yorkshire sashes, each with herringbone 1781 tooled lintels. The roof is swept, with gable coping, shaped kneelers, and corniced end stacks.
