Description
Ristbrow Farmhouse is a house built in the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed limestone and sandstone, featuring herringbone-tooled quoins and a pantile roof. The original layout includes a 3-cell staircase lobby entry, with a later addition at the right end. The building has two storeys and four windows on the first floor. The entrance consists of a board door set within a wooden porch, flanked by sash windows with glazing bars, and there is a 3-light Yorkshire sash window on the right end extension. On the first floor, there are 6-pane sashes, except for a 2-light Yorkshire sash on the right end extension. The farmhouse has gable coping and shaped kneelers, along with corniced stacks at the ends and ridge. An external staircase leads to the board door on the right gable end.
