Description

Jenny Bradley Stone is a boundary stone dating from 1838 or earlier. It is a roughly tooled monolith that stands approximately 2.5 metres high. The north and south faces of the stone are inscribed, with the south face reading "F 1838" and the north face reading "Sir W Fowel." This stone marks the meeting point of the parishes of Bransdale, Farndale West, Ingleby Greenhow, and Westerdale.
