Description

This building, located to the south of the Watch House in Staithes, was probably originally a lock-up and dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of local stone, with some parts rendered, and features a pantiled roof with stone copings. The building has two low storeys and consists of one bay. It includes a six-panel door and small fixed lights, as well as a blocked long window on the west elevation.
