The Old Watch House is a cottage from the early 19th century, rendered, likely on stone. It features a hipped roof covered with recently renewed clay pantiles. The building is two storeys high and has two windows. The first-floor windows are sashes with vertical bars, while the ground floor has two small windows and a modern door. Inside, there is an original stone fireplace on the first floor. The cottage is included as part of the Boathouse Yard group.
