Description
Borrowby Farmhouse is a farmhouse and cottage that have been combined into one building. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and is constructed of coursed squared stone. The roof is pantiled with stone copings, and there are brick and stone chimneys at each end. The farmhouse section is taller than the cottage section. The building has two storeys with two windows on the upper floor and two on the lower floor. The windows in the farmhouse have been modernised, while the cottage features tripartite windows with glazing bars and a central opening light. There is a half-glazed door in the cottage part.
