Description
Coquet Nook Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed from herringbone-tooled coursed sandstone. It features a pantiled roof with a stone ridge, copings, and kneelers, along with rebuilt brick chimneys. The farmhouse has a hearth-passage plan and consists of two storeys with two bays. To the left, there is a set-back downhouse that is one storey and has an attic with one wide bay. The main entrance is a top-glazed six-panel passage door, with a modern small-paned casement to the left and two eaves dormers above. The main house has two 2-light small-paned casements on each floor, block kneelers, and end chimneys. Inside, there are beams with small quarter-round moulding and one old door, while other features are modern.
