Description
The Hobler Public House is an 18th-century public house that was extended in the 19th century. It features a brick-rendered exterior and an old plain tile roof. The building is oriented end-on to the road and is two stories tall with two bays. A 19th-century bay has been added to the road end, along with a wing behind it and a lean-to at the far end.
The front of the building includes a 19th-century gabled porch at the road end bay and a flat-roofed canted bay in the center. There is a two-light casement window in the far bay and a small nine-pane sash window in the lean-to. On the first floor, there is a six-pane sash window in the 19th-century bay and a twelve-pane sash window in the other bays. The 19th-century bay has a lower ridged hipped roof, and there are stacks in front of the ridge at either end of the original part of the building.
