Description
This sundial, dated 1761 and featuring the initials C.M.P., is located in the churchyard to the north of the church. It has a sandstone shaft with moulded edges and is topped by a square block approximately 1.5 feet high. The octagonal brass sundial plate, which includes a gnomon, is a later addition and is inscribed with the words "The gift of Wm Danson."
