Description

Blindtarn Gill is a building that may date back to the 16th century. It is constructed of white-washed stone rubble and features a flagged roof with a central chimney. The building has two low storeys and includes three new windows on the ground floor and two in gablets above. The front of the building, which faces the waterfalls, has two small windows on each floor that are irregularly spaced. There is a low wing at one end, which is now used as a kitchen but may have originally been a stable. The structure has thick stone walls and low ceiling beams.
