Description
High Cross is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century or early 19th century, with alterations made in 1882. The building features painted stucco walls, V-jointed quoins, and an eaves cornice. It has a graduated greenslate roof with coped gables and kneelers, along with ashlar chimney stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high and consists of five bays. The entrance includes a panelled door with a fanlight set within a painted stone architrave. The windows are sash types, also framed in painted stone architraves. There is a rear extension and adjoining farm buildings that were added in 1882, but these are not considered of interest.
