Description

This is a late 18th-century farmhouse and barn, now a private house. It is constructed of painted roughcast walls with an eaves cornice, and has a graduated greenslate roof with stone chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high, originally comprising three bays with a further two bays to the right under a common roof, which was formerly a barn. The front has a six-panel door within a painted stone architrave, topped by a pediment. Sash windows are set within painted stone architraves; the ground-floor windows are double-sashed. The former barn section has a 20th-century door and sash windows. The rear of the building also features 20th-century windows. A right-angled barn to the left is not considered to be of historical interest.
