Description

Low House is a house dating from the mid to late 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It has walls of painted roughcast, set upon a large projecting plinth of stone. The roof is of graduated greenslate, with 20th-century brick chimney stacks. The facade, which faces the road, features a plank door in a plain surround, and a further plank door to the far right. There are 20th-century windows, one earlier sash window with glazing bars, and a bow window, all set in plain reveals. A semicircular projection containing the staircase is to the left, and contains a small casement window. A small lean-to extension is attached to the right.
