Description

This is a barn located to the south-east of Burns Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from a mix of slate and igneous rock rubble, topped with a graduated greenslate roof. The barn has two levels, with a lower extension on the right side. A large cart doorway on the upper floor is accessed by a ramp, and there are ground-floor doorways on either side, which are positioned beneath slit vents. This barn is included for its group value with Burns Farmhouse.
