Description

Lord's Bridge is a bridge over the River Gilpin, built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from stone rubble with dressed stone. The bridge features a segmental arch with a band above it and has parapets made of large slabs. There is also a later addition of an iron tie. This bridge is located on the route of the Kendal to Kirkby Ireleth turnpike road.
