Description

Broadgate is an early 19th-century house located in Millom Without. It is constructed of stuccoed stone and features a hipped slate roof. The south elevation has two storeys with an attic and consists of three bays. The ground floor is adorned with 20-pane sashed windows, while the first floor has 16-pane sashed windows. The gable includes a bull's eye window with tracery. The entrance is highlighted by a Tuscan porch and a six-panel door, with deep eaves and verges. The east elevation mirrors the south, comprising five bays, with the central bay projecting forward under a gable. It features sashed windows with 20, 16, and 12 panes, as well as a central French window. The west and north elevations are similar in design.
