Description
The barn, likely from the 19th century, is located to the northeast of Low Gregghall Farmhouse. It features a cartshed, hay loft, and cowsheds all under a single roof. The walls are made of stone rubble, and the roof is covered with slate. The cart entrance has roughly shaped limestone voussoirs, and there are pigeon holes in the west gable. The entrance is framed by curved walls and rusticated limestone gate posts topped with pyramidal stone caps and stone balls. A wrought iron gate, probably from the 20th century, completes the entrance.
