Description

Tullythwaite House is a house dating from around 1820, with later alterations and an extension to the left side. It is constructed of coursed squared stone, now rendered, with quoins and a first-floor band. The roof is slate-covered, featuring two stone chimney stacks at the ends, and one off-centre with tall ceramic pots. A double span roof has a stepped feature between the chimneys on the left. The house has two storeys. The front entrance has a 6-panelled door with glazed upper panels and an oblong fanlight recessed behind a round-arched opening, which is accentuated with a keystone and impost blocks. There are two canted bays to the left of the entrance, and a single sash window to the right. Above, there are four sash windows.
